Seats are the licence. Credits are the meter.
Credits debit per design: 15 to export a signed-off pack, plus 5 for unlimited AI on that design. Everything else — previews, drafts and in-progress work — is always free.
AI included — 5 credits per design
AI Compliance Check, Condition Survey extractor, AI Suggest and RdSAP auto-populate are on for every user. A flat 5 credits per design unlocks unlimited AI usage on that design — no per-call fees.
15 credits per exported design
Every signed-off PDF export debits 15 credits from your workspace credit pool, plus 5 credits for the AI used on that design. Same flat rate whether the Owner or an Additional User exports.
Top up whenever you need
Buy credit packs from £100 (+ VAT) direct from your Workspace → Billing page. Credits never expire, apply workspace-wide, and roll over year on year.
Common questions
What actually counts as an "export"?▾
Downloading the final PDF (Full Design Pack or Summary) with the designer's digital sign-off. Each debits 15 credits from the workspace credit pool plus 5 credits covering the AI used to generate the pack. In-app previews, in-progress work, un-signed drafts and internal PDF renders are always free.
Do credits roll over year-on-year?▾
Yes — credits never expire and carry over indefinitely. Buy them once, use them whenever. Credits follow the workspace, not the individual user, so anyone in the team can export against the shared balance.
Is there a free trial?▾
Yes — a 7-day free trial with full platform access. You can create up to 3 designs, invite up to 3 teammates and preview every document (watermarked). Stripe holds a card on sign-up but doesn't charge until day 8 — cancel any time before then and you won't pay a penny. Can I add teammates who only do site work?▾
Yes — the Retrofit Administrator role is free. They can log in, edit projects and upload site photos and surveys, but can't sign off or export. Great for admin staff, site engineers or trainees.
What if I cancel mid-year?▾
Rolling 30-day notice from your annual renewal date. Your workspace stays read-only until the end of the paid period — you can still view and export anything you've already signed off.
